This page provides SFBB+ users with up to date news, special instructions and general information on the App. Particularly following App updates or when new features have been provided.

SFBB+ Updates Available

We are constantly updating SFBB+ so please check that you are operating the latest version by visiting your app store.

Sometimes these updates will provide new features – but we do also regularly release updates to fix bugs or provide important security updates.

Please do regularly check that you are using the latest version – and ideally update your settings to allow automatic updates.

If you do have any questions regarding SFBB+ please do not hesitate to get in touch.

iOS Temperature Page Error

We are aware that a small number of Apple users were temporarily unable to record temperature records within SFBB+ on v02.30

An updated version (v02.31) is now available to fix this – so please download it to fix this bug if you are affected..

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Please get in touch if you have any concerns and we will be more than happy to help.

Food Allergy Law is Changing

Allergy law is changing. From 1 October 2021, the requirements for Pre-Packed for Direct Sale (PPDS) food labelling will change in Wales, England, and Northern Ireland. The new labelling requirements will help protect your consumers by providing potentially life-saving allergen information on the packaging. Any business that produces PPDS food will be required to label it with the name of the food and a full ingredients list, with allergenic ingredients emphasised within the list.

It’s time to check if your products require PPDS labelling and what you need to do to comply with the new rules.

The Food Standards Agency have produced a helpful guide at:

Improvements to the SFBB+ App

We are always working with you, our valued customers, to update and improve SFBB+

We are committed to ensuring the app keeps you legally compliant and has the functions you need.

We have made some important updates recently that will improve your experience – so we strongly urge all of our customers to visit their app store and update to the latest version of SFBB+

If you want to make sure you are making the most of what SFBB+ can do, we also recommend you watch our short instructional videos found here.

Many thanks again, remember we are always here to help.

Important Security Updates

We are strongly recommending that all SFBB+ users check that they are running the most up to date version of the App on their devices. Please visit your App Store and confirm you are running Android version 2.11.1 or iOS version 2.4.0.
You are not at risk if you dont, but it is possible that functionality may be lost if you do not and the app may appear to run slower. So to continue to receive the best experience using SFBB+ please update now, and ideally enable auto-updates.
If you have any questions regarding the use of SFBB+ please do not hesitate to get in touch, the team are always here to help.

Version Support Update

As valued SFBB+ customers we realise that it may have been a challenging few months for many of you, but we continue to be here to support you with SFBB+ and hope that being able to access and update your SFBB system remotely has been something you have been able to take advantage of.

We are also letting you know that we are due shortly to make a number of changes to SFBB+ that will improve the efficiency of the database that keeps all of your data and strengthen security. You shouldn’t see any significant changes to the way SFBB+ functions – but if you do, please get in touch and we will make sure we address these for you.

The switch over to these updates will take place on 18th May 2020 – after which users will need to be on at least version 1.10.8 (iOS) or 2.3.1 (Android) to continue using the app. We apologise if this effects you but it is important that we maintain SFBB+ to a standard that is safe and secure.

Good luck to you all at this time, stay safe.
